While these are all great signs of a positive outcome, there is no 100% guarantee of a job. I remember one experience I had where everything went right. I went home, did my thank-you letter, waited, and then was told I didn't get the job. And while job seekers should always do thank-you letters post-interview, it is especially crucial if they have had great interview experiences. To not do so could cause the hiring committee to go with someone else who may have had just a similar interview and remembered the thank you. I’m glad you added the disclaimer at the end, Karen.
