Ever had a talent or a hobby that you’re so good at you wish you could get paid for it? Well, you’re in luck! Nowadays, more and more unlikely jobs are surfacing for a lot of people to take advantage of. I couldn’t believe it until I found that they really do exist and some of them even pay well.

Here are a few I’ve found:

Personal Shopper I heard a couple of celebrities employ some of these individuals because they barely have time to shop for their own clothes. Plus some of them want to keep away from the paparazzi. But as it turns out, there are also stores and large consulting firms that have openings for this kind of job. The average median salary is at $30,000 – $57,000. They also enjoy full benefits as any other full time employee would. If you choose to do this part time, you can get paid between $25 – $300 per hour. This is perfect for all the shopaholics out there!

Dog Walker Do you just absolutely love dogs? Well, why not get paid for walking them? This job can earn you about $50 per hour. But the earnings don’t stop there, the more dogs you can handle the more you can earn. If you just can’t get enough of these cute and cuddly creatures then try out this job. Aside from the pay, walking dogs can be really good exercise too.

Brand Ambassador Once you’ve reached the age of 21 you’re already eligible for this job. You will be promoting the finest of wines and liquors and teaching clients the different ways to determine quality through tasting parties and high profile events.

Furniture Tester Has your mom ever called you a couch potato? Don’t feel bad, you can actually turn it into a career! Furniture companies usually offer this job. Who would have ever thought that sitting around on comfy sofas can actually be very productive?

Fantasy Broker Are you the absolute people pleaser? If so, then this is the job for you. Your task is to make people’s fantasies come true. From safari adventures to a night out on Las Vegas, you will set out to arrange for the execution of your client’s whims and dream vacations or nights out (usually of the rich and famous), down to every last detail. No easy task by any means (depending on the scale), but if you aim to please and you follow their instructions to a tee, it means big bucks for you.

These are just but a few of the most unlikely jobs, but well-paying jobs available. There are a lot more out there if you know where to find them. Believe me, there is something for everybody. So if you ever find yourself wishing that you could make a living of something you absolutely love doing, just look further, you might actually find an opportunity to turn that into a job.
